Special offers via mobile phone
March 2010 sees the launch of Mobile Coupon, an innovative mobile marketing service, by SIX Multi Solutions. It was developed specially for merchants who want a quick and easy way of sending promotions such as discounts or special offers via text message straight to their customers’ mobile phones. The customers can then redeem these electronic coupons at the merchant’s store using the existing payment terminals. Media Markt, the leading home electronics outlet in Switzerland, is already using the service – with compelling success. |

| Changes to Maestro cards: Separation of CASH and Maestro |

| As of September 2010, the CASH electronic purse is being separated from the Maestro card and will operate independently from then on. This is happening as several of the card-issuing banks have decided to stop supporting CASH on Maestro cards in the future. CASH will continue to be usable at the existing points of acceptance from this date. SIX Multipay, which issues neutral CASH cards, will go on supporting CASH. |

| SIX Multipay and China Unionpay sign a cooperation agreement |

| China Unionpay, the domestic credit card organization in the People’s Republic of China, and SIX Multipay Ltd, the leading acquiring company in Switzerland, have signed a cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, SIX Multipay shall promote the acceptance of the China Unionpay Card in Switzerland – and in a second stage – also in additional European countries. Participating in the signing ceremony in Shanghai were Jianbo Cai, Executive Vice President of China Unionpay and Hans-Martin Moser, CEO of SIX Multipay. |
