It is in everybody's interest for you to be properly protected against the possible theft of card data. |
||
With this in mind, the leading card organisations have introduced the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) with a view to enhancing the security of card payments. This move is a response to the increasing instances of card data being stolen around the world. PCI DSS requires all merchants worldwide who transmit, process or store card data to take and comply with effective security precautions. All merchants are required to comply with the PCI DSS standards as soon as possible. They either need to outsource all aspects of payment processing to a certified payment service provider (PSP) or undergo certification themselves. Compliance with these standards must be documented each year by means of a self-declaration. What is known as the Self Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) serves as this self-declaration. Working in conjunction with Acertigo AG, a certification firm accredited by the leading card companies, we have set up a web portal on which you can quickly and easily complete your registration and self-declaration.
